Litepaper Companion Guide for Eternal Paradox

Eternal Paradox is an online multiplayer 4X strategy game developed by NDREAM and published by Gala Games on the iOS App Store and Google Play Store.

This litepaper companion guide aims to share key information from the Eternal Paradox litepaper written by Gala Games, along with additional commentary and tips. This guide is intended to be supplementary to the official litepaper. It is not an official guide and is not intended to be a replacement of any official documentation shared by Gala Games.

Eternal Paradox operates around a 49-day seasonal system. There is a 24-hour maintenance break in-between seasons.

Upon season end, all player progress is reset minus mercenaries owned and their respective ranks. Immortal Stats for NFT mercenaries are also retained, whereas normal non-NFT mercenaries have their Immortal Stats reset.

ETIME Token #

Eternal Paradox has a dedicated token, Eternal Time (ETIME ). ETIME is an ERC-20 token that is available on the Ethereum network and GalaChain. Players will receive distributions of ETIME as a GalaChain mint allowance. This can then be minted onto GalaChain to be spent in the Gala Games store for Eternal Paradox items, sent to other users, or bridged to the Ethereum network.

Items purchased in the Gala store are delivered in-game to Assets Storage > Misc.

Contract Address #

The ETIME token contract address is 0x55fA68BcC23Bc2907261F89eB9543f11F4088271.

Maximum Supply #

ETIME has a maximum supply of 200,000,000 (two hundred million).

Distribution #

ETIME is generated from overall Gem and Stamina expenditure by all players in a given day (excluding event Gems). It can be represented with the following formula:

0.90(Gems used) + 0.009(Stamina used)

ETIME is distributed to players through the Daily Prize leaderboard and Season Prize leaderboards, with 40% of ETIME generated for a day allocated to the Daily Prize and the remaining 60% allocated to the Season Prize.

Daily Prize #

40% of ETIME generated is accrued into the Daily Prize, which is distributed through a leaderboard ranking the top 1000 players based on Daily Prize Points (DPP ) earned during the day. The leaderboard resets at 0:00 UTC. After the reset, a distribution of ETIME to the top 1000 players of the Daily Prize leaderboard occurs.

Players in the top 1000 will receive in-game mail confirming their specific ranking at the reset and their respective percentage of the Daily Prize distribution. Players outside of the top 1000 will not receive any mail.

Daily Prize Points (DPP) can be obtained from levelling up the Head Office, levelling up the Captain, reaching stages in the rotating Challenge Events, and when acquiring wheat and residing on an active land NFT.

Mercenary NFTs provide a percentage bonus to Daily Prize Points (DPP) earned according to their rarity. Bonuses can be cumulatively stacked up to 100%.

Season Prize #

The Season Prize is distributed through 3 different leaderboards: Conquest, Arena, and Battle Power. 60% of the Season Prize goes to the Conquest leaderboard, 20% to the Arena leaderboard, and the remaining 20% to the Battle Power leaderboard. ETIME distributions for the Season Prize occurs at the end of a 49-day season.

Conquest #

60% of the Season Prize (i.e. 36% of generated ETIME for a game season) goes toward the Conquest leaderboard, which ranks the top 150 players by Conquest Victory Points (CVP).

Conquest Victory Points (CVP) are awarded to players in the top 3 guilds of each Conquest event, of which there are 3 in each season. The Conquest Victory Points (CVP) are split amongst guild members based on their overall contribution to their respective guilds (with a maximum individual contribution of 10%).

Arena #

20% of the Season Prize (i.e. 12% of generated ETIME for a game season) is allocated to the Arena leaderboard. The Arena leaderboard ranks the top 50 by Arena Victory Points (AVP) accrued during a 49-day game season.

Arena Victory Points (AVP) are awarded to the top 500 players of Arena rankings at the end of an Arena season. There are 7 Arena seasons in one 49-day season, with each Arena season lasting 7 days.

Battle Power #

The remaining 20% of the Season Prize (i.e. 12% of generated ETIME for a game season) is allocated to the Battle Power leaderboard, which ranks the top 500 players by their highest Battle Power achieved in the game season.

Stamina Token #

During Season 4, the EPX Stamina Token (STAMINA ) was introduced. Available from Head Office level 16, Stamina can be converted to STAMINA in-game at a rate of 100:1. The amount of Stamina that can be converted depends on Head Office level, with the limit resetting every season.

STAMINA tokens are minted directly onto your GalaChain wallet and are not received as a GalaChain mint allowance. The token does not have a known maximum supply. It cannot be bridged to the Ethereum network and does not have a token contract address.

STAMINA can be converted back to Stamina at a rate of 1:100 by purchasing Stamina Bundles in the Gala store. Stamina Bundles are delivered to Assets Storage > Misc.
